Roadwork signs have not been collected for many months following roadworks on A11 earlier in the year

Reported via desktop in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 11:54, Fri 15 December 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5323826.

This issue was reported in November but the diversion/roadworks signs are still there as at 15 December 2023 although told an inspection would be made. There is one sign still up on B1111 before the A11 goes over the road and there are 3 or 4 redundant signs left on both left and right verges of B1111 as approach Larling village from Roudham which have been overturned and never collected. Whilst they are not causing any objections they have been there for many months and the parish council would like them removed.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment.

We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed.

    Kind regards
