Storm drainage steal gridle damage
Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 15:51, Thu 14 December 2023
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5321092.
After houses in Chideock on A35, on east bound towards Chideock to Bridport, single storm drainage steel griddle is damaged, slightly sunk into the road. You can't stop and have a look, far too dangerous place, but it appears 5 to 10 cm deep, it could be dangerous, definitely damage the car.

Still not fixed. Please note it was first reported 5 months ago. You have to avoid, else collision will most likely cause a puncture. Please repair as a matter of priority.

Still not fixed and very dangerous for cyclists in particular as the road is narrow and they may feel they have to cycle over it.

Still not fixed and nearly caused a major accident today when a car veered to avoid it and nearly hit a truck on the other side of the road. It’s very narrow there and the whole is now very deep, several inches.
