The slip road from the A34 was flooded.

At 06.10 am this morning both lanes on the northbound slip road from the A34 to the boarshill roundabout were flooded. This slip road wasn’t lit up so visibility was poor. I tried to avoid the deepest left lane due to the water being too deep. I had no option due to cars coming up fast behind me, than to drive in the right lane which looked shallower. Unfortunately my right side wheels seem to drop down the edge of the road and made an awful scraping noise on probably the kerb stone. This all happened so quickly and I was lucky that no one had driven into the back of me. I have booked my Ford Focus registration EJ16BWP into my local garage for an inspection for any damage caused.
