Lights off

Reported via mobile in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 19:40, Sun 10 December 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5303519.

This is the third time i have reported the street lights not being on. Twice you have closed the case and yet these lights are switched on randomly for short periods of time and then off again. We have Ravenside retail across the road and many vulnerable and elderly people have to make their way home in the dark to their homes on De la Warr Road or Glassenbury Drive. Are you going to resolve the issue and enable us to see when we are walking? It is not safe!

Updates

  • Thank you for your report.

This platform is a reporting tool. Previous reports for this issue have been closed as we have already acknowledged we’re aware of the lighting fault along De La Warr Road.

Further work is planned over the Christmas period to try and rectify this issue.

Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of work required. We apologise for any inconvenience this fault may cause you and thank you for contacting us.

    Kind Regards
