Traffic lights not working

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 19:09, Wed 6 December 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5290134.

The sequencing of the eastbound traffic lights is only letting 4 cars through at a time. This is causing delays of up to 2 miles. The westbound and Brookland road lights seem fine.

  • Thank you for your report.

We’re aware there is a traffic light sequencing fault on the A259 near Brooklands Road and apologise for any disruption this may have caused you. At present, further investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the fault. Although we don’t currently have a time frame on when this will be fixed, we hope this will be resolved as soon as possible. Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of work that is identified to rectify the issue. Kind Regards National Highways
