Overhead signs

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5280753.

Can you explain why the overhead signs are not illuminated to show the 50 limit that has been in place for months maybe years now. This is between Frimley and Bagshot J4 J3 I think. This is what the signs are for. What would you use them for if not to provide info to drivers. Or is it a cunning plan to raise revenue.
