Temporary traffic lights should be more efficient

Reported via mobile in the Diversions/ Signposting/ traffic controls (NH) category anonymously at 09:34, Mon 4 December 2023

Dear TfL,

As. I understand the works on great west road are necessary and have been ongoing through this year with more plans for next year.

I do know that there have been other complaints regarding this and I know TFL can’t do much however, I do request when the roadworks are in place, the signal in this junction to go forward is still on and traffic coming out this junction during roadworks can only turn left onto the road due to the diversion. The signal seems to be delaying traffic for no apparent reason as seen by the diagram attached.

I hope that you can investigate this and let me know if this is possible, furthermore may I also request any other future plans for roadworks on this road with dates!

Many thanks Sameer
