Large pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5270760.

Very large collection of potholes as you join the A2 London bound from Greenhithe. Th issues are just as the slip road joins the main carriageway. The pothole is deep enough to cause serious damage to vehicles or cause motorcyclists to fall off into live traffic.

  • Thank you for your report. We’ve attended the location and can confirm there are 2 areas on the slip road that have a loss of surface course. No remedial work is required currently as we are planning to resurface this area. Whilst there are no confirmed dates for the resurfacing currently, we will continue to monitor this location during our weekly safety inspections and raise any remedial work if required.
