Replacement street light is intrusive.

Reported via desktop in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 11:19, Tue 28 November 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5260562.

In November 23 (the 21st I believe) there were alterations to the street lighting opposite my house at Warren road, Worthing BN14 9QU. As a result the light now shines directly into my bedroom, through the curtains and is extremely intrusive. I have lived here for over 30 years & this has not been a problem until now. I can provide pictures that show the street furniture before & after the recent changes. Previously the light was directed down towards the road & achieved the objective without effecting surrounding properties. That is no longer the case. I suggest that some form of cowl or shield might be fitted to prevent the unnecessary light pollution.
