Roadworks in stupid place causing huge delays

Why have you allowed one lane - right in front of the traffic lights - to be used for parking while work is being done in the field next to the A5????? This is causing massive traffic issues in Potterspury (where I live) making it extremely difficult to get in and out of the village, not to mention the noise and air pollution!! Get them to park somewhere else - I wouldn’t mind so much if it were actual roadworks, but when it’s being used for parking and left unattended for 18 hours a day, I have a problem with it. SORT IT OUT or are you taking bankhanders?!
