Large pot holes leading up to roundabout

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5227240.

The road surface is badly damaged for approximately 10 meters leading up to the roundabout on the left side of the road. Top layers of tarmac are gone. There is also a large hole on the right side of lane next to the manhole cover a few meters from the roundabout. The road has been damaged for over a year. Has previously been reported!

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the poor road surface condition on the A47 at Wisbech. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
