Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5224813.

Please we haven’t slept for 2/3 weeks now. The banging sound coming from this drain cover is unbearable now. Is anyone coming to fix it.

Drain cover is very loose making a huge nose every time a truck goes over it.

Disgraceful that this hasn’t been fixed yet. We are hearing the crashing of the loose manhole cover over a mile away. Every few seconds as lorries go over it. Highways need to be pressing BT if it is ‘their’ asset.

Cover is dangerously loose. Sounds like it could come off. Potential for serious accident with damage to people and vehicles. Noise is terrible at night.
