Green phase broken
Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 16:27, Thursday 16 November 2023
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5220637.
On the A2 northbound, the green phase of the traffic lights is so short only 3-4 cars can pass. this is causing heavy traffic to build up along the A2 tailing back towards ESSO garage in some cases.

Set of lights on the north bound from Canterbury, still not working green phase is for only 6 seconds, then changes back to red, next green phase is longer but this is causing a massive queue from 6am until late in the evening

Thank you for your report.
We’re aware there is a traffic light sequencing fault at Brenley corner and apologise for any disruption this may have caused you. We have attended the site and reset the lights; however, this hasn’t rectified the issue. At present, further investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the fault. Although we don’t currently have a time frame on when this will be fixed, we hope this will be resolved as soon as possible.
Kind Regards
