Missing cats eyes and worn/ invisible road markings

The road between the roundhill tunnel folkestone and dover docks is shocking. I live here so know the road, but when I travel on it at night I'm acutely conscious of the many missing cats eyes on this stretch of road, and the road markings are also very worn and invisible in places. This is a road used by many foreign drivers and large numbers of HGVs and is really dangerous.

Please can something be done about this. Many thanks

  • Thank you for your report concerning cats’ eyes and studs at this location.

    We carried out an inspection recently and our teams are aware of the issue. There is also an ongoing resurfacing project in the area where the studs and markings. haven’t been installed yet. Kind regards
