Dangerous road markings and road surface between Jct 5-7

Lane markings at Junction 5-7 eastbound are really difficult to see the separate lanes. It is highly dangerous. The white lines & previously temporary lines which have been 'blacked out' are confusing with low lighting, rain or bright sunshine. If not already, this WILL cause an accident; I have done very close to be driven into along here on multiple occasions over the last few months. People are reporting cars with lane assist are pulling them to meet the dark lines, causing a really dangerous situation

I’d like to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and I apologise confusion these road markings are causing. We really appreciate the information and feedback we receive, and value the perspective you bring as someone who uses our network. I’m pleased to report that we do have plans to address this issue in the coming year. An overlay scheme will be replacing the existing concrete with tarmac to address the driving experience and the difficulty with visibility due to the glare from the sun.
