Slip road chaos

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 10:24, Mon 30 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5152156.

Half of the markings for the slip road have been 'blacked out' but commuters still continue to use the slip road as normal. Junction entrance then becomes very short, encouraging near misses joining the carriage way.

Slip road needs to be widened and extended to allow for two lanes of traffic to join carriage way to support the traffic leaving Weston to commute to Bristol. Takes 40 minutes most mornings to get from Queensway to the Junction slip. Flooding is also an issue from the traffic lights, reducing the lanes to only one from the roundabout.
