White lines and markings
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5146693.
The road markings are gone. Everyday I use this junction, somebody is in the wrong line causing a near collision. Today I had someone nearly drive into me as they were in the A50 lane and they wanted the hotel. People clearly aren’t capable of reading the standing road signs.

Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

Still not sorted. When I used this junction today out of 10 cars navigating this island 7 were in the wrong lane!

Agree with previous users. Going from M1 northbound exit to A50 requires keeping in the right lane, but the markings joining those two points have almost completely disappeared. Need new markings urgently,
