Support Pillar Damaged on Prince of Wales Crossing

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 10:00, Fri 27 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5141736.

Hi,

I was recently walking near the Prince of Wales Crossing at Seven Beach at low tide and one of the support pillars out in the estuary looks wrong. The land around the pillar has been eroded to the point that the concrete pillar no longer meets the ground or in the case of low tide the water. Instead the pillar appears to be suspended above the water with the metal foundations exposed. I took photos of the pillar which look quite concerning, please get in contact with me so I can send them to you.
