Pothole on junction

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category by katherine ellett at 20:23, Tue 24 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5133930.

Pothole on junction at the start if the bridge passing over the M5. This pothole is very deep and is causing car user to swerve to avoid it. This road is also used by equestrian traffic as well and could cause major problems for local farms as well. It is also a key route that the emergency services use to get to a nearby care home down the lane. Debris could also fall down to the motorway below which could cause problems. As this road is unlit it can come unexpectedly to vehicles and traffic that is not aware of this particular road defect. This pothole has been present for a couple months. There is also road defect further down the lane (lapal lane south) that could turn into a major issue.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.
