The stretch of footpath and grass verges between boycott road and the ross road health clinic, north bound side of the carriage way.

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category by Cllr Daniel Powell at 10:27, Tue 24 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5131170.

This stretch of footpath is becoming increasingly narrow because of the overgrown hedgerows, along with more slippery grass bank to the right of the path. The footpath itself is uneven and crumbling in parts due to wear and tear over the years. It would be good if the footpath could be flattened and widened as in it is incredibly tricky to allow people to get passed. This is often prevalent in the winter months when the grass verge is wet and slippery. with an ageing population I feel this poses a real safety risk, especially if a scooter or other mode of transport is coming directly towards you.

I look forward to hearing from you,
