Height of vegetation blocks view of traffic on roundabout

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5114699.

The excessive height of vegetation in the centre of the roundabout blocks the view of traffic on the other side.

I was just missed by a car suddenly appearing. We were both on the A420, I was continuing on the A420 while the other car was approaching me from the other side and going 3/4 of the way around the roundabout to the A46. An accident waiting to happen due to a lack of maintenance.

  • Following on from the previous poster, almost exactly the same thing happened to me. The height means you cannot see cars on the far side and they cannot see you entering the roundabout, which is going to cause an accident.
