Cones and sandbag on verge

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5108463.

Apparent road closure on A31 between sturminster Marshall and bere regis monday 16th and tuesday 17th october. Residents have not be advised. Didnt see any signs along commute. Made aware when hearing cones been thrown down outside the property. What if we need to leave the house. We dont know anything about this closure, dates and times, access. Such bad practice.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use.
