Unnecessary use of traffic management to facilitate services being provided for new development.

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 14:01, Fri 13 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5094360.

Whilst at times there is a need for traffic management and accepted that lights are removed at weekends they remain in situ throughout the working week creating considerable delays on the A259 and a much increased use of unsuitable back roads by motorists of all size vehicles endeavouring to avoid the issue. A number of motorists have reported that at very infrequent times are there any contractors working in the coned off area. The developers are causing unnecessary stress and increased risks of collisions. Thank you
