Significant overgrown vegetation

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5092559.

Severely overgrown vegetation causing vehicles to over run junction marking to view oncoming vehicles. signage is currently blocked and in some areas, encroaches carriageway.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. There is planned work starting early November 2023 for approximately 6 weeks between Whitfield roundabout and Eastern Docks roundabout.

    During these night closures there is planned resurfacing, barrier repairs, vegetation cuts, sign cleaning and drainage maintenance taking place.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people. Kind regards National Highways
