Road Drainage System Issue

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 14:05, Fri 6 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5069430.

The A38 fly over seems to have an issue with the drainage again over the Marsh Mills R/A. It has previously been dealt with and I am guessing its a similar issue with possibly a blockage. No noticeable flooding on the flyover, but between the Alpha and Bravo carriageways (the small gap of light you see from on the roundabout) a torrent of water can spill down when there has been heavy rain.

The torrent of water can be anything from a drip on good days to a fire hose on bad days. It affects lanes 1 and 2 on the R/A (Sainsburys and A374 traffic).

On previous inspection they found this flooding had caused some other issues too.
