Large pothole on outside lane of Caxton Gibbet roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 09:33, Fri 6 October 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5068067.

There's currently a pothole situated in the outside lane as you enter from the west-bound entrance of the Caxton Gibbet roundabout.

The pothole is about a foot wide and several inches deep, however the main issue is due to it's position in the lane it is often not safe to adjust your entry angle into the roundabout to avoid it without risk of collision with vehicles parallel travelling in the inside lane, resulting in inevitable need to drive directly over it and risking damage to the vehicle.
