Dashed white lines/ lane separation markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5062844.

West bound from the smith and nephew slip road to the clip road exiting at st. Andrews quay

The above markings are completed faded in parts and almost completely faded in others. Very hard to decipher separate lanes - almost caused an accident 19:30 04/10 due to driver in front being unaware and travelling in centre of both lanes.

Issue has been present for a long time but only just realised how much of a problem this could be for someone who is not local to the area and aware the road is two lanes.
