Blocked drains

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5049622.

Standing water pooling across carriageway. Ongoing problem. Drains need clearing regularly. Build up of dirt /mud/silt all along edges of road doesn't help.

    We can advise it is the responsibility of the Local Authority to sweep the A628, we’ve recently reported this. However, if you’d like to report this contact details can be found below.

    In regards of the clearing of our drainage assets, we’ve a cyclic maintenance plan which is undertaken every two years. There are areas identified for enhanced maintenance, which are undertaken on a yearly basis.
