Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 13:22, Fri 29 September 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5044444.

Someone making political statements by writing on subway walls. There is further writing on wall from Victoria St to the approach to Lord Sudamors School. Says "never trust a tory". Subway looks a mess.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection. Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and can take much longer.

We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they will arrange a suitable solution.

    Kind regards

    National Highways

  • Most removed but both entrances to subway had chalk comments. Someone did not do adequate look. A rush job.
