Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5017653.

Following heavy rain yesterday, there was a considerable amount of water collecting at the lowest point of the road surface along this stretch. As there was a problem last year when a pothole appeared here associated with the drain, I strongly suspect that the drain is blocked. Although this is incovenient at the moment if things deteriorate again the situation quickly becomes dangerous as this is a fast road used by heavy traffic.

Updates

  • As far as I know, this area is still collecting rain water when there is a heavy downpour so I assume it has not been fixed. As mentioned before, I cannot get close access to the area so am not sure if there has been some remedial treatment.
