Tyre shredded by something on road surface

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 17:21, Mon 18 September 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5007005.

Sudden tyre shredding, 9pm northbound A11 nr Wymondham, on Thursday 14th September. We managed to exit the A11 at Browick Rd, and after waiting for 6.5hrs in the vehicle, the AA retrieved the car at 3.30am, on a flatbed truck. Reporting this now as press coverage mentions that NatHighways is apparently unaware of any issues recently on northbound A11. It’s possible that our experience also connects with events of 17.9.23 involving multiple other tyre punctures at same location.
