We appreciate you taking the time to notify us about the overgrown vegetation on the slip road at this location, and we’re sorry that on this occasion the time frames to cut back vegetation is taking longer than we would’ve liked.
We’re currently behind with our vegetation maintenance work in the area and apologise for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause you and the community.
Our inspector is in the process of prioritising areas that require additional urgent remedial work whilst our maintenance teams look to catch up with the vegetation maintenance works within the wider area.
Our inspector attended the site today and confirmed there is vegetation on the verge between the main carriageway and the eastbound entry slip, however this stops prior to the bullnose and isn’t currently impeding any sight lines to join the main carriageway.
Although there is no action required at this time, we will continue to monitor the situation and raise any additional vegetation maintenance if required.
Our Customer Contact Centre, available 24 hours a day at: • 0300 123 5000 • info@nationalhighways.co.uk
