Drainage blocked / standing water southbound
Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 08:28, Tue 12 September 2023
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4984047.
During/after rainfall - a large stretch of pooling in the right hand/outside lane due to blocked drainage, all traffic travelling south in this lane are causing waves of water which goes over the central reservation barrier hitting the cars heading north in the right hand / outside lane in their windscreens, causing temporary washout blindness. This is very dangerous and lead to a very serious accident! This lane of motorway has been closed for months to allow for upgrading, yet they didn't clean out the Beanyblock / Aco drain - its full of vegetation!
