Lane closure for no reason west bound

• Thank you for your email of 10 September 2023 about lanes on the M62 showing as closed when they were actually open. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us about the issue.

  We've checked and can confirm there were roadworks in the area on 10 September 2023. The lane closures would have been signed for until the contractor had established the works. The signs would've have been set but the roadworkers may not have got that far by the time you drove through. Works were called in at 20:12, paused until 21:05 due to high traffic count and then established again at 22:35.
