Vegetation causes blind spot on the path/cycleway

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Keith Birch at 19:16, Fri 8 September 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4974033.

The cycle path turns through 90 degrees as it moves away from parallel to the A3 along slip road at Longmoor Road Junction. Cyclists approaching from north or south meet head on with no line of sight round the blind corner. I have already had one head on collision myself, with another elderly cyclist. It is a narrow cycle path, hence it is possible they could fall into the path of a vehicle exiting on the A3 slip road, resulting a cyclist and vehicle accident

The brambles obscure the view, cutting back or reducing in height would be a solution.
