Vegetation obscuring level crossing lights

Vegetation growing out of the verges is obscuring the sighting for the level crossing traffic lights and signage, particularly on the northbound carriageway on the left side.

  • We appreciate you taking the time to notify us about the overgrown vegetation on the footpath at this location, and we’re sorry that on this occasion the time frames to cut back the vegetation is taking longer than we would’ve liked. We’re currently behind with our vegetation maintenance work in the area and apologise for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause you and the community. Our inspector is in the process of prioritising areas that require additional urgent remedial work whilst our maintenance teams look to catch up with the vegetation maintenance works within the wider area. We will continue to monitor the situation and hope to resolve these issues soon.
