Uneven and unacceptable high ridge on motorway

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4960404.

At about 200 metres on the westbound carriageway, there is deep ridge between the old and new road surfaces. It's undoubtedly causing serious damage to potentially hundreds of vehicles.

This was reported to the Highways Agency on 01 Sep 23 and all you did was acknowledge and promptly closed the report stating "we are looking into it". This is totally unacceptable and the log should remain open until the road surface is fixed - which should be as a matter of urgency

    We're aware of this issue and temporary warning signs 'Ramp Ahead' have been ordered to be installed within the next few days.

    Longer term the issue will be resolved one the New Monks Farm developers have appointed a new contractor following Buckingham Group entering administration.
