Potential fire hazzard

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Dr Ali McLee ( parish councillor) at 10:35, Mon 4 September 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4956076.

Verge maintenace have been cutting the grass, allowing it to dry as hay then collecting and storing it in piles along the sides of A19. These are vulnerable to being set alight and a smoke , vision obstructing issue to traffic. The material needs to be removed after cutting - ( sold as hay?). This is a new issue. It may be a result of biodiversity management as a grassland, requiring the annual, late cutting of the grass and its removal ( simulating a hay meadow). very laudable but finish the job safely, please.
