Increase in graffiti

Reported via iOS in the Graffiti (NH) category by Teresa proctor at 18:32, Sun 3 September 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4954416.

There has been a sudden increase in graffiti on the pillars alongside the expressway, around Spaghetti junction. Are thevoerpetrators caught on camera? Please can this be removed before it turns into the problem we have in Digbeth? Thank you.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection. Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and can take much longer.

Our local inspector checked this location this morning and saw the non-offensive graffiti. There are three locations of graffiti that we have raised to be cleared. Non-offensive graffiti gets cleared within 6 months but often our structures team paint these out much sooner.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
