There were no markings or cones whilst the 2 lanes on the m25 were closed and only 1 lane open which went straight to the exit / slip road. For cars heading straight onto m25 it was not clear from where to join m25 and abruptly they have to go right which some cars went over chevrons but were hit by obstacles on the road which damaged the tyres. There were around 7-8 cars which suffered and were stranded waiting for rescue people late night. This was very dangerous as there was not enough signage or visibility.

Several families / cars affected with this obstacle. Photos attached. The emergency services when they arrived to check on us as we had young children admitted that they knew about the problem and said that are looking into fixing it. It has been a very nerving experience with children esp when it’s not our fault
