Uneven surface

We have travelled through the road works, once they have cleared we have moved over and doing so there is something in the road which has caused 3 possibly 4 tyres to pop. We have been on the hard shoulder since 2.30am along with 4-5 other cars who have also had their tyres popped by this unknown obstruction. Whilst waiting for a recovery truck another 2 cars have also experienced the same problem. Most of the vehicles have waited for tow trucks. Some have had tyres fixed at the side of the road by a tyre repair van
