Pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4939139.

Quite a serious pothole about 1/2 mile before the junction southbound in the inside lane..our car seems to have survived it but it was a large bump, could be potentially bad for a bike

    We’ve passed your concerns to our maintenance team for further investigation.

    We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we’ve processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired quickly.
