The lights westbound are not necessary

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 09:09, Sun 27 August 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4930855.

Travelling westbound - the roads to the left (Brighton City airport) and to the right (Coombes Road) have been closed for several weeks, but the westbound lights are still turning red in sequence. Now the company doing the roundabout improvements is in liquidation and unlikely to be finished for months, the westbound lights need to be switched off or covered. They are causing west bound holdups, unnecessarily.
