Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4927509.

Nature of the problem: Pedestrian barrier Barrier is damaged Description: Barrier missing sections. Looks like crash damage as bumper from car is still at the location and lots of debris Location Information: Bridge above the M621 West Bound. Toby Carvery behind on the right. Damaged barrier on the left hand side heading towards Gildersome Interchange

  • Thank you for your report regarding the damaged barrier on the bridge above the M621 westbound. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your concerns.

    We're aware of the issue and have a temporary barrier in place so the bridge can be trafficked safely. We have instructed our maintenance subcontractor to undertake a permanent repair. This should be completed by the end of September 2023.
