Pothole

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 22:37, Mon 21 August 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4914655.

There is a large and deep pothole just after the entrance to the right hand lane of the southbound slip road at the M5 Jct 14 joining from the west. This morning at 7:50 this deep and wide pothole caused damage to my right rear alloy and would like to request compensation to repair the damaged wheel. Due to the design of the slip road and a car joining at speed from the east I was forced to alter my driving line through the corner and ran into the pothole which damaged my right rear wheel. This pothole has been present for sometime however i, and other users, are often able to avoid it if there is no traffic joining from the east and a wider driving line can be taken to join the slip road.
