Pedestrian underpass needs lighting installed

This underpass is a well-used route for pupils heading to and from local schools. Lighting here would make the journey much safer and less intimidating

  • Thank you for making your report about the underpass. Our inspection team have attended and assessed this location.

    I'm pleased to tell you we've arranged work to remove graffiti from the underpass, we aim to complete this work within the next 4-6 weeks.

    We're sure this will make a difference to the appearance of the underpass.

    We'll consider the installation of lighting in the underpass as part of our future works programme.

    We'll continue to monitor this location during our regular inspections.
