Street lights needs to be turned on for junction 2 of M55 (Preston Northern Bypass / Edit Edith Rigby Way) and also the roundabout on Edith Rigby Way that that is south of junction 2 of M55.

    The M55 is mainly unlit to help us support the aims of the Department for Transport. We’re able to reduce carbon emissions by switching off lighting on carefully selected stretches of motorway. Sites have been chosen where there is a good safety record where analysis shows that the lights can be switched off without affecting safety.
