All lights out in large area

Reported via desktop in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 20:11, Thu 3 August 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4856798.

I'm assuming this is not intentional as part of the works going on in this area but every street light around this junction, including the roundabout and all approaches (A3 and M25), underpasses, and crossovers are not working. Area is in complete darkness apart from the temporary lights for the roadworks.

Updates

  • You are causing massive tailbacks on M25 everyday. Open up the slip roads to jcn 10 to two lanes. It's not about safety of your operatives, it's about common sense. You are making a 20 min journey take an hour. I don't care what you say about safety. Your people are 200m from the road. The rest of us are funnelled into one lane. You are causing major congestion with reduced air quality & extended journey times. You can cover it up with all the positives on your website but you are not looking at the reality of your scheme. Open up the slip roads to two lanes!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with the update above. No change in over 2 months. Major tailbacks, huge queues. Reducing slip road exits on a major motorway down to one lane is unfathomable and putting people at risk. What analysis was carried out that would authorise this? What is being done to improve this?
