No road markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4847298.

The road is not marked, giving road users no indication of which lane they should be in. Right hand lane should be used for turning right only. Left hand lane for continuing straight over. The amount of near misses or accidents at this junction is beyond ridiculous. Please mark the road with directions.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and investigate this issue.

    The current roadworks scheme at Marks Tey is due for completion in spring 2024. The local route inspector will liaise with the contractors with regard to any safety concerns.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
