Slippery surface

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4843740.

Road surface causes vehicle to lose traction and swerve into hedgerow. This has occurred three times with 3 different drivers in the last 6 weeks. The road has been damp on each occasion and our drivers have been driving at an appropriate speed for the prevailing conditions. We have dashcam footage of the last incident if that helps.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we'll continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
